A deck created for real-world readings

Before it became a product, it was my personal working deck.

I wanted a deck that was beautiful, but above all practical—easy to bring out, comfortable to hold, and effortless to read, without clearing the whole living room table just to lay out a Grand Tableau.

I created it for my own readings, research, spreads, and consultations. Then people started asking whether they could buy it.

That is how this first edition came to life: a personal deck that grew into something worth sharing.

What makes it different

Clear symbols

Petit Lenormand needs clarity. Each card keeps its main symbol clearly visible so the reading stays direct.

Mini format

At 6.3 cm x 4.1 cm, this deck fits comfortably in your hand and lets you lay out all 36 cards even on a small surface.

Smooth reading flow

The cards were designed to work together. Direction, gaze, and movement naturally support the reading.

Watercolor style

An elegant, timeless look—soft on the eyes, yet clear enough to remain useful in real cartomancy practice.

Small in hand, powerful in readings

A mini format built for real use: easy to carry, comfortable to shuffle, and clear from the very first card.

Modernized Court cards from the Petit Lenormand Aquarelle deck with directional orientation

A modernized Court, still directional

I modernized the Court figures so they feel more contemporary, more human, and easier to recognize in modern readings.

But they still retain their directional strength. In a Grand Tableau, a figure’s gaze and orientation quickly reveal what it turns toward, what it observes, what it supports, and what it avoids.

This is especially valuable when a question involves other people. At a glance, you can tell whether the story includes not just the querent, but also a partner, a friend, a rival, an authority figure, a very loud inner child, or someone who has clearly decided to get involved.

Made with love in Barcelona

Designed for the Grand Tableau

The Grand Tableau is part of the soul of Petit Lenormand. It is where the cards stop being a sequence of images and become a complete map of the situation.

With this format, you can lay out all 36 cards more easily and follow lines, diagonals, and proximities without fighting for space.

Did you know?

Card stock matters—and it carries subtle energetic qualities.

Linen is a natural fiber associated with purity, durability, and stability. In divinatory work, it brings a more organic feel to the touch, as if the card stays calmer in your hands.

Energetically, linen is often perceived as a material that filters, soothes, and clarifies. Rather than amplifying everything at once, it supports readings that feel steadier, clearer, and more grounded.

So this is not only an aesthetic choice. It is a material that supports the reading experience.

A deck that draws attention

When I read with this deck in a café, people stop. They look. They ask what it is.

There is something about the watercolor style: softness, elegance, and a timeless presence that draws attention without ever overpowering the reading.

This deck is the result of years of practice, refinement, testing, and real readings. Every detail was designed to serve cartomancy—not just to look pretty on a shelf.
